Program of this 2-day introductory MER workshop

MER (MyoFascial Energetic Release) is a form of deep hands-on bodywork. “Myo” refers to muscles, while “fascial” refers to fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds and links structures throughout the body. MER explores physical and emotional tension through mindful touch, breathing, joint mobilisation, assisted stretching and movement. It aims to relieve pain, improve mobility and support balance between body and mind.

This two-day workshop is open to bodywork practitioners and therapists who wish to expand their skills, as well as anyone curious to discover this approach. Through demonstrations and paired practice, you will explore the principles of MER and learn basic techniques. You will discover how to combine deep, sensitive touch with breath and movement to support the release of tension in the tissues.
